The Short Scion, designed at Rochester and flown from the Airport in the 1930s, has been brought to the Airport and MAPS will begin restoration almost at once. This particular aircraft is especially interesting as it is a rare floatplane conversion. Although it needs a lot of work, it will become a major attraction when put on display. Very fitting for it to arrive as the airport opens a new chapter in its existence.
